Here   we always opt for artisanal crafts. For this reason, although we know and rigorously apply all types of interior plastering with a spatula, which have emerged in recent years, to give a touch of color and distinction in the decoration of the home. It must be said that throughout life, there have been a series of  old techniques , with the same purpose within the profession of  the lime plasterer.  We firmly believe that this series of techniques are much more distinguished than the previously mentioned ones, and in addition, they give us a much wider range of possibilities to be able to create our own finishes. They also have a higher durability and at the same time are less aggressive with the environment and beneficial for our health. For all this, and because lime is a very malleable and pleasant material to work with, we often recommend the use of lime plastering in the case of looking for this touch of distinction.

This technique has been commonly used in interiors due to its hardness and high light reflection , which is achieved by burnishing the stucco with a hot iron and with the help of a soapy solution that lubricates the surface of the stucco and the water repellent. At the same time, the high temperature of the iron bakes the most superficial layer of the stucco, giving it a unique hardness within the range of finishes that this trade offers us. But also the slid finish or other cold burnishing can give finishes of great beauty in interiors.

Lime finishes for interiors are usually smooth and hard, with specific qualities that differentiate them from conventional materials: elastic, hygroscopic, hypoallergenic, breathable, thermal, acoustic and electromagnetic insulators, fireproof and disinfectant. The smooth finish has a very high light reflection which is ideal for interior walls.
